This Workshop Is Presented By

Stephanie Evans is the 18-year-old founder of the organisation, “Seas of Change.” Seas of Change is an Australian organisation that aims to raise funds and awareness for a variety of marine and environmental conservation efforts, including dugongs, sea turtles, climate change and plastic pollution. Steph runs school talks, fundraisers and events in Australia, with one of her main focuses being to empower youth to take a stand for their environment and homes. Her school talks program has been able to educate, inspire passion and stir emotion within children by helping them to realise that they have a voice and can make an impact by following their dreams, even at a young age. Steph has also been lucky enough to speak at many events and schools, attend a dugong research trip, spoken at local and state parliaments and work with many organisations, including Planeteer Alliance, Ocean Heroes Bootcamp, POP Movement, Ervis Foundation, CURV and Ocean Youth. Steph is currently an ambassador for the POP Movement and the Planeteer Alliance. Recent awards include, 2021 Youth Community Service Award from the NSW Order of Australia Branch, Northern Beaches Council, 2021 Young Citizen of the Year and the 2021 Northern Beaches Eco Award for Youth Individual Achievement. Steph has also had the honour of speaking to, and mentoring, thousands of children to raise awareness of current environmental issues.
