Samira Ben Ali and Mert Kumru both work for World's Youth for Climate Justice. World’s Youth for Climate Justice is a global campaign to take climate change and human rights to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to seek an Advisory Opinion. It seeks to clarify the obligations of states to protect the rights of current and future generations from the adverse effects of climate change. Samira takes part in the WYCJ campaign as the Outreach and Engagement Coordinator. She is particularly interested by environmental geopolitics, the protection of marine biodiversity and climate justice. Mert is the former UN Youth representative and currently works for WYCJ as the Campaigner.
