Winnie Tushabe grew up with her single mother five siblings in Masaka district in Uganda. She graduated at Kyambogo University. She is the founder of Youth Initiative for Community Empowerment. She has worked with refugees and nearby communities to change their lives and at home. We have trained them on vegetable growing, nutrition, land conservation, loans and savings, liquid and bar soap making, marketing, among others.
